    I originally got this to weigh food for a diet I was on. It is in lbs and kilos. I love to cook, but I only have my husband and I to cook for. Most recipes are made for 4, and this scale helps me measure out just enough for my hubby and I. It's durable, and the bowl can be used for multiple things.     I really like my scale. I love that it measures in ounces or grams. I use it for everything. I love the bowl that you can either use or take off and that you can set the tare if you want to use a different container. Candice from Pietermaritzburg
